This hotel is a real gem! The value for money is excellent, especially considering the attention to detail and the basic amenities provided. The location is perfect, not far from the center of town but tucked away on a peaceful street. My sister-in-law stayed in a room with a private balcony and she absolutely loved it. My husband and I recently stayed at Villa Oaxaca for a week-long vacation. The family who runs the hotel made us feel incredibly welcome and accommodated our last-minute request for an extra bed. The room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We loved the cooling pool and the stunning variety of birds in the nearby trees. Even with our limited Spanish, we were able to have engaging conversations with the family and laugh together with the help of Google Translate. The location of the hotel, at the end of a cul-de-sac, felt safe and added to the peaceful atmosphere. Breakfasts at the family table were a highlight, with Juanita's yellow mole being a particular standout. We would highly recommend Villa Oaxaca to anyone visiting the area.
Strongly recommend this hotel.
